I find that I panic when I get home (esp. from work) by focusing on food;-an ok idea if you can eat whatever you want. However, I tend to overeat out of fear that I 1) am not able to be satisfied 2) may not get enough to eat 3) just fear itself in general .
When I overeat, I get intestinal infections. NOT PLEASANT! Right now I have a newly acquired parasite
and it feels like it's squeezing my heart as well as making my nerves shake.
In the past, I dealt with this same situation by measuring food and eating only what my body asked for (very difficult) and ate measured amounts 3 times/day without waver. I also lived with someone so that the factor of downtime and alone to look for other comfort was minimized.

It was a 2 year diligent process. Now that is a good plan that I should use.

I like the idea of using fear to guide me wisely instead of fear riding me into self-mutilation.

Thanks for your website.
